Sarika Agarwal, Managing Director Food Safety Works, is now one among the only 7 principal consultants for Food Safety Management Systems registered across the country by Quality Council of India. A Principal Consultant is the highest level in a 3 level system and is a recognition of the depth of knowledge and experience. She is the only consultant from Karnataka to get there.
Sarika is a well known name in the the food safety domain in the state of Karnataka and her 15+ years of experience in the domain is well recognized. In the past few years, she has personally led over 20 organizations through implementation of food safety management systems and guided her team with many more implementations. She founded the company Food Safety Works to bridge the knowledge gap that existed in this domain. She was also the recipient of the Women Entrepreneur of the Year award at eMerge and HerRising awards 2019.
She currently leads the team of over 15 consultants who work with various food verticals right from beverages, dairy, spices, flours, bakery, heat and eat products and prepared foods. Some of the companies where she has helped/is helping implement Food Safety Management System include, Akshayakalpa, Amway India, Elior India, Ravi Products , Smoodies and Sunil Agro.
