FSSAI Hygiene Rating
We are a FSSAI partner agency for doing the hygiene rating for food outlets. The audits are carried out as per the norms laid down by FSSAI and as prescribed by QCI. This short presentation provides the details on the process of getting a hygiene rating.
Here are some FAQs
1. Who can get a hygiene rating?
Any restaurant, cloud kitchen or a food outlet serving fresh food can get a hygiene rating from FSSAI.
2. Who will provide the certificate?
The certificate will come from FSSAI after we upload the results of the audit.
3. What is the use of self assessment?
The self assessment should help you familiarize yourself with the audit and you should also be able to get an idea about what rating you can expect
4. What if I am not satisfied with my score?
In case you are not satisfied with the rating you receive, you can go for a re-audit after fixing the issues.

Audit Charges
Audit Fee:
- INR 8500 per man day shall be chargeable.
- Travel limited to a distance of 25 km from the location of the unit and stay of auditors on actual basis shall be borne by the Food Business Operator.
Flexibility in fee:
Discount of up to 15% can be given in case the Food Business Operator has multiple locations to be audited.
Taxes: GST 18%

Complaints/Issue Resolution
In case you have any complaints about the audits that were conducted at your premises., you can send you complaint/concern over email to hygienerating@foodsafetyworks, we will respond back to you with 3 working days. The e-mail should contain the following information
- Name of the FBO
- Date of the Audit
- Name of the Auditor
- Nature of the Complaint
