Through a letter dated 22nd June 2021, FSSAI has extended the timeline for compliance with FSS (Food Product Standards and Food Additives) Ninth Amendment Regulations 2020 to Jan 1st 2022.
This change was brought after consideration to harmonize the implementation with the amendment of two lists of processing aids, which is to be enforced from Jan 1st 2022.
