About the contest:

Do you have an out-of-the-box idea about food safety? If yes, then this is the contest for you.  We want the young minds of our country to showcase their knowledge and explore the field of food safety. Do not miss this opportunity to be heard and express yourself through your artistic talent.  

To mark the World Food Day 2021, we at Food Safety Works are eager to find out what you think about food safety through this photo and poster contest. We can’t wait to listen to great ideas from young generations about food safety. Together, we aim to build a stronger and better food safety culture in our country!

Who can participate?

We are looking for schools pan India to actively encourage and support their students to participate in the food safety awareness contest. 

The competition is divided into Two categories. The First category will consist of students in classes 5th, 6th and 7th and the second category will consist of students who study in classes 8th, 9th and 10th. 

Steps to participate:

1. Create a photo/poster on a food safety issue during the COVID-19. 
2. Upload your file in the relevant section of the online entry form along with other required details. 

NOTE: THIS CONTEST IS FOR FREE!!

Topics: 

There are no limitations on the topic you may choose, but here is a list of possible topics that may inspire you while preparing your poster or photo. Remember that these are just examples and new topics (Related to Food Safety) are more than welcome. Be creative and original!

• Hand-washing
• Food Safety at schools/homes / Stalls
• Food Safety during COVID-19
• E-commerce, ready-to-eat food deliveries
• Prevention of food waste and loss
• Food shopping (supermarkets, wet markets, street food, special restaurants)
• Shared responsibilities

Evaluation of your photo or poster:

Photos and posters will be evaluated separately based on the two categories.

1) Drawings and paintings (Junior Category – Class 5th to Class 7th)

2) Illustrations and info-graphics / Creative Photographs (Original) (Senior Category – Class 8th to 10th)

Rewards: 

The two best submissions of each category will be declared as winners of the contest. All winners will be given a certificate of recognition from Food Safety Works. In addition, the photos and posters of the winners will be featured on our social media sites (including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn) and will also be promoted on our website for further visibility! All participants will be awarded with a participation e-certificate.
