On 6th September 2021, FSSAI published a draft FSS (Packaging) Amendment Regulations, 2021. The regulator has provided the Maximum Migration Limit of Antimony and Phthalic acid, bis (2-ethylhexyl) ester (DEHP) from plastic materials intended to be in contact with articles of food.
