On 6th September, FSSAI published a draft regulation called the Food Safety and Standards (Vegan Foods) Regulations, 2021. The regulator has provided the general Requirements, Compliance and Labeling and display requirements for Vegan foods.
Stakeholders can submit their objections or suggestions within 60 days from the date this draft was uploaded.
