Compliance with Standards on Micronutrient Content in Fortified Foods

On 22^nd September, 2021 FSSAI released a gazette notification to amend FSS  (Fortification  of  Foods)  Regulations,  2018. As per the notification, any  manufacturer  who  fortifies  any  food  shall  ensure  that  the  level  of  added micronutrients  on the label  of  such fortified  food  shall  fall  within the  range  specified  in Schedule-I.
