On 8th April 2022, FSSAI issued an order regarding strict enforcement to check the blending of Mustard oil with other edible oil. As per the order, it has been requested to carry out appropriate actions including regular surveillance and enforcement drives at manufacturing and market levels to ensure effective enforcement of the prohibition of blending of mustard oil.
