On 11th April 2022, FSSAI issued an order regarding the sample size of high-priced imported alcoholic beverages. As per the order, the Authorized officers shall ensure that in the case of imported high-priced liquor, if a miniature sample of 100 ml (in two numbers) is available, then only the miniature sample shall be drawn for laboratory analysis and the labs shall carry out analysis with 100 ml quantity.
