On 31st May, 2022, FSSAI issued notice for operationalization FSS (Food Product Standards and Food additives) amendment regulations 2021 w.r.t limit of naturally occurring formaldehyde in freshwater and marine fish. FSSAI makes the regulation operational with immediate effect.
