On 20th June 2022, FSSAI published a direction regarding the operationalization of the Standards of Crude Corn (Maize) Oil with immediate effect, to facilitate the import of crude corn oil by FBOs. This regulation has already been notified in the draft FSS (Food Product Standards and Food Additives) Amendment Regulations, 2022.
