FSSAI Direction: Operationalization of Standard for fortified Rice kernels

On 23rd June 2022, FSSAI issued a direction regarding operationalization of Draft Food Safety and Standards (Food Product Standards and Food Additives) Amendment Regulations regarding the standards of fortified Rice kernels, with immediate effect from 22.06.2022. The regulations for Standards of Rice flour and Vitamin-Mineral Premix to be used for preparation of Fortified Rice Kernel (FRK) and the Standards for Fortified Rice Kernel are mentioned in the draft regulations.
