On 24th June 2022, FSSAI published draft regulations on FSS (Health Supplements, Nutraceuticals, Food for Special Dietary Use, Food for Special Medical Purpose, and Prebiotic and Probiotic Food) Regulations, 2022. The regulations cover the general and labeling requirements for all categories and category-specific requirements for Health supplements, Nutraceuticals, Foods for Special Dietary Use (FSDU), Food for Special Medical Purpose, and Prebiotic and Probiotic Foods (Pre-Pro)
Objections or suggestions may be sent to FSSAI at regulation@fssai.gov.in within 60 days from the date of publication of these regulations.
