On 13th July 2022, FSSAI issued an order regarding the compliance with Manuals of Methods of Analysis published by FSSAI for analysis of the food samples by FSSAI notified laboratories. As per this order, all FSSAI notified laboratories shall use the Manual(s) of Method(s) of Analysis as amended/adopted by the Food Authority from time to time including AOAC/ ISO/ Pearson’s/ Jacob/ IUPAC/ Food Chemicals CODEX/ BIS/ Woodmen/ Winton-Winton/ Joslyn, for analyzing the samples of food articles.
