FSSAI removes the FSS certificate validity for Food Safety Supervisors
On 21st July 2022, FSSAI issued a memorandum regarding removal of the certificate validity for Food Safety Supervisors. It has been decided to remove the validity clause of FSS certificate with immediate effect for the food handlers who continue to work in the same kind of business. However if the food handler changes KoB, he/she will have to undergo the FoSTaC training afresh and obtain a new FSS certificate for the respective KoB.
