On 24th August 2022, FSSAI issued a clarification regarding the payment of application fee for endorsement of vegan logo. It is clarified that physical cheque or Demand Draft will not be accepted by the Food Authority. The FBOs applying for endorsement of ‘Vegan Logo’ are requested to submit the application fee of Rs.5000/- (excluding G.S.T) through the online e-payment portal. The transaction receipt and invoice shall be submitted to the Food Authority as an enclosure in the application.
