FSSAI Gazette Notification: Migration limit for Antimony and DEHP in plastic materials
On 30th August 2022, FSSAI published Food Safety and Standards (Packaging) Second Amendment Regulations, 2022. As per the amendment, the maximum migration limit for Antimony and Phthalic acid, bis (2-ethylhexyl) ester (DEHP) have been specified as 0.04 mg/kg & 1.5 mg/kg respectively, under the requirement for specific migration limits for food contact plastic materials.
