On 13th September 2022, FSSAI issued an order regarding the special drives to sensitize FBOs to mention FSSAI License/ Registration number on cash receipts/ invoices/ cash memos/ bills, etc. As per the order, it has been mandatory to declare a 14-digit FSSAI License/ Registration number on cash receipts/ invoices/ cash memos/ bills, etc. by all food businesses selling food products, with effect from 1st January 2022.
