On 11th October 2022, FSSAI published Gazetted notification on Food Safety and Standards (Approval for Non-Specified Food and Food Ingredients) First Amendment Regulations, 2022. The amendments have been made regarding the procedure for grant of prior approval, application form and annexures. This amendment comes into force with immediate effect.
