On 2nd November 2022, FSSAI issued an order regarding the revision of Inspection checklists. It has been decided that marks shall be given only to those requirements which are applicable as per the respective KoB. The requirements that are “Not Applicable’ to a food business shall be omitted/ ignored while evaluating the Inspection Score/ Grading. This change has been incorporated in online portals FoSCoS/ FoSCoRIS for conducting inspections and came into effect on 28th October 2022.
