On 13th December 2022, FSSAI issued a gazette notification on Food Safety and Standards (Advertising and Claims) Second Amendment Regulations, 2022. The amendments have been made regarding nutrient content claims, equivalence claims, non-addition claims of sodium salts, and non-addition of additives, and also in schedules I, II, III, IV & V.
