On 20th December 2022, FSSAI issued an order regarding a new KoB and inspection checklist for ‘Fish and fish products’ under FoSCoS for License and Registration. This came into effect on 18th December 2022. The existing manufacturers of ‘Fish & Fish products’ having licenses for the products listed under ‘General Manufacturing’ or ‘Meat processing’ KoB have been remapped to new KoB ‘Fish & Fish Products’ and these FBOs shall take a printout of the updated copy of license from their FoSCoS account.
