On 2nd January 2023, FSSAI issued a notice regarding the inclusion of Form IA, Form IB and II as part of the Draft Food Safety and Standards (Genetically Modified Foods) Regulations, 2022. Forms IA & form IB (with administrative, technical & procedural information about GMOs) and form II (approval/ rejection) have been provided along with the notice and are open for comments/ suggestions from the stakeholders within a period of 30 days from the date of publication of this notice.
