Overview

Started as “Quality and Food Safety Consultants”, the company was established in the year 2009 to bridge the knowledge gap in the industry about Food Safety Management Systems. This was at a time when FSSAI regulations were still not published, and the concept of HACCP and standards like ISO22000 were recognized only by the export houses.

With the formation of FSSAI in 2006 which lead to notification of FSSAI Rules and Regulations in 2011, the industry has come a long way.  More food establishments are now aware of the hazards of the food industry (next only to pharma) but shortage of expertise continues to exist. We now work with establishments big and small across India and South East Asian countries to help them implement systems and processes for an effective Food Safety Management System.

Over the course of time, we have come to believe that design is an integral part of implementing a good system and this is something that has been completely ignored thus far. To bridge this gap, we now provide services for planning and design of the production unit, be it a factory, a kitchen, cafeteria or a lab. We are able to augment this with a strong regulatory understanding on the product side as well.

We are now a one stop solution for all the industry needs on Food Safety.

Vision & Mission

Our vision is to be “A company that is respected by its customers for its technical knowledge and capability to understand their needs to provide verifiable solutions”.  We believe that the Indian food industry in different from the west, with consumer’s preference for fresh food with processing being done at a medium scale. With consumption trending towards localization, building mega factories may not be the best way to move forward. This requires adaptive thinking and we want to be able to lead that in partnership with our customers.

Sarika Agarwal

Founder/ Managing Director

Sarika has B. Tech in Food Technology and has been leading the company since 2009. She has helped multiple clients implement FSMS at their location. She has an overall experience of over 16 years in the domain.

Ramesh Agarwal

Co-Founder/CEO

Ramesh has an MBA from IIM, Bangalore and has been in this role since 2014. He has successfully completed planning and design work multiple production units.

Babita Das

Manager HR

Babita has an MA in Political Science and has been in this role since 2015. She takes care of the HR processes for the company

Surabhi Soral

Head, Regulatory Services

Surabhi has a PG Diploma in Nutraceuticals and Food Processing. She has a deep understanding of FSMS and has implemented them at multiple client locations. Her other expertise include food regulatory and packaging and licensing.

Govind Valiathan

Head, Learning Solutions

Govind Valiathan  has a Masters in Engineering and Management from RMIT University, Australia. He has extensive experience in planning, design and process control.
