Overview
Started as “Quality and Food Safety Consultants”, the company was established in the year 2009 to bridge the knowledge gap in the industry about Food Safety Management Systems. This was at a time when FSSAI regulations were still not published, and the concept of HACCP and standards like ISO22000 were recognized only by the export houses.
With the formation of FSSAI in 2006 which lead to notification of FSSAI Rules and Regulations in 2011, the industry has come a long way. More food establishments are now aware of the hazards of the food industry (next only to pharma) but shortage of expertise continues to exist. We now work with establishments big and small across India and South East Asian countries to help them implement systems and processes for an effective Food Safety Management System.
Over the course of time, we have come to believe that design is an integral part of implementing a good system and this is something that has been completely ignored thus far. To bridge this gap, we now provide services for planning and design of the production unit, be it a factory, a kitchen, cafeteria or a lab. We are able to augment this with a strong regulatory understanding on the product side as well.
