FSSAI issues authorization mechanism for recycled plastic manufacturers
On 21st January 2022, FSSAI released a notification on the authorization mechanism for recycled plastic manufacturers permitting the use of the recycled plastics as food contact materials. The recycled plastic manufacturers may submit their application to the Food Authority and follow through the process for obtaining authorization.
