On 26th July 2022, FSSAI issued a direction regarding the extension of the date for compliance to Food Safety and Standards (Vegan Foods) Regulations, 2022. Taking into consideration the procedural issues related to prior approval of the vegan logo, it has been decided to extend the timeline for mandatory compliance to FSS(Vegan Foods) Regulations,2022 up to 26th January 2023.
