On 18th February 2022, FSSAI published a direction on the extension of validity of the NOC for the alcoholic beverages that are bottled in origin and in bulk. As per the direction, the NOC issued as per FSS (Import) Regulations, 2017, for imported consignments of alcoholic beverages bottled in origin and in bulk, containing >10% alcohol and that does not have an expiry date, shall have a validity of 300 days.
