Through an order dated 23rd June 2021, FSSAI has given relaxations to the FBOs during the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic.
FSSAI has decided to extend the timeline upto 31 st August 2021 for the following
- Submission of online Annual Returns.Online submission of Annual returns should be mandatory through FoSCoS.
- Waiver of late fee for renewal of License.
The below mentioned relaxations will cease w.e.f from 30th June 2021
- Permission to temporarily operate Food Business on the basis of 17- digit Application Reference Number.
- Manufacturers are allowed to operate with higher capacity on the basis of application for modification of their License.
- Limited Inspection and e- inspections allowed.
