Safe For India, Safe for World

The Safe for India, Safe for World initiative by Food Safety Works aims to create awareness about food safety in India and to bring international standards to the country’s food industry. The campaign aims to educate the Indian population on the importance of adopting better food safety practices so that it becomes a global leader in this field.

Under this initiative we conduct information sharing session and free trainings to engage with the various stakeholders in the industry to increase their awareness about food safety. We conduct webinar for incubatees of Center for Entrepreneurship Development at Coffee Board of India. We have conducted several workshops at colleges to educate the students of Food Science, Technology and Nutrition on the importance of food safety.

The two flagship programs that we run are the World Food Safety Day Celebration where we organize week long events to increase the awareness, and Safe Food For the World, another week long program celebrating Global Handwashing Day, World Standards Day and World Food Day.
